The Wellmen took the lead inside the first ten minutes, Kai Wallis opening the scoring for the home side.
With 23 minutes played, the Wellmen increased their lead as Brady McGilloway doubled the score on his first match back in the red and white shirt. A few moments later, McGilloway nearly grabbed his second of the match but his effort from 25 yards hit the bar. The Wellmen increased their lead on 35 minutes through Jake Cooke, then Town grabbed a 4th on the stroke of half time through Dave Hayes, who fired home after Zebb Edwards' effort comes back off the bar.

The Second half was 6 minutes old and Danny Andrews (pictured) increased Town's lead, then 5 minutes later, Andrews added a 6th as his free kick found the bottom corner of the net.

Despite chances for both sides, the score remained 6 - 0 to the Wellmen at Full Time and it was a great run out for both sides in preparation for the new season.
