John Haseldin's men put in a great performance to make up for the disappointment of losing over the weekend at Brickfield Rangers.

Goals from Matty Harvey, Sam Jones, Darren Gowans, Shaun Tuck and a Jamie McDaid brace saw the Wellmen take the spoils. The visitors pulled one back in the latter stages of the game.

It was a much better performance by the Wellmen in their first pre-season fixture at Halkyn Road and hopefully that will carry on as the side take on Winsford United on Saturday at Halkyn Road, kick off 3.30pm
